North Lakhimpur Development Authority

LAND SALE

The Land Sale Process begins with the client collecting a form for ₹60. Once submitted, the client receives a confirmation SMS, and the application is processed by the authority. The designated engineer determines the revenue amount, which is then entered by the accountant, and the client is notified via SMS. The client can pay the required amount either in cash or through an online QR code available at the counter. After payment, the cashier hands over the file along with the official receipt, completing the process efficiently.

Steps to be followed

  • Collecting the Application Form: The applicant begins by visiting the North Lakhimpur Development Authority office to collect the land sale application form. A nominal fee of ₹60 is paid for this form.
  • Form Submission: After filling out the form, the applicant submits it to the authority for processing. Once the form is submitted, a confirmation SMS is sent to the applicant, acknowledging the submission and starting the review process.
  • Revenue Assessment: The submitted form is processed by the relevant authorities. During this stage, the engineer reviews the application and assesses the revenue amount (the fees or taxes to be paid for the land sale). This amount is then entered into the system by the accountant.
  • SMS Notification: Once the revenue amount has been determined and entered, the applicant receives an SMS notification detailing the assessed revenue amount and instructions for payment.
  • Payment of Fees: The applicant visits the office again to pay the required amount. There are two payment options available:
    • Cash Payment: The applicant can pay the fees in cash at the counter.
    • Online Payment: An online QR code is displayed at the counter, allowing the applicant to make the payment through a digital transaction.
  • Receipt Collection and File Handover: After successfully making the payment, the cashier issues a receipt to the applicant. The processed file, along with the receipt, is then handed over to the applicant, completing the land sale process.
